im supposed to be 'hanging out' w/a male friend (i have a crush on him tho lol) of mine tonight and were going to see a show at a bar. im wondering what i should drink tonight, especially since he said he'd buy me a drink
when i go out w/my girls, we always do shots so im really not used to sipping an entire glass of something. but since theres a band playing, i might not be able to do shots, plus he'll prolly jst get a beer and its no fun doing shots alone. i dont know what to order!! i usually do shots of jameson (which does draw a few eyebrows lol) and i can do like 4 or more shots of that. ive had cran and vodka before and it was ok but i didnt love it. i also dont wanna go with a super-girly drink like sex on the beach, but i suppose i should play it safe bc im used to having the alcohol hit instead of sipping and slowly getting drunk. i dont really care what type of alcohol (ugh well except cognac-- terrible!) but it would be good if it was sweet enough to endure repeated sips.
so what should i order? plz no super-girly embarassing drinks!
Try a Mojito or, if they have them, a Caiparinha, essentially a Brazilian version of a Mojito. Both have liquor in them, but they also have lots of lime but are somewhat diluted. Both are refreshing, especially for the summer but be forewarned that they go down easily. Do not be fooled into thinking you are drinking nothing.
Perhaps I am highly suspicious from experience, but what you said about him inviting you to a show at a bar raised my early warning system alert. While yo didn't specify what kind of a show this was, I am wondering whether it might be a drag show in which case this "male friend" might be trying to tell you something about himself. Of course what that may be can be almost anything, but it's just something I hear in the background. If it's nothing odd, then by all means just enjoy yourself and have fun. Just remember that tension and nervousness often makes you drink too much. if you want to tell HIM something, it's best to be reasonably sober. There's nothing worse than a woman expressing her passion when she is under the influence.
